Commercial Mobile Ingredient Bin

Select a mobile ingredient bin around the ingredient, density, usable volume, safe load, material, lid access, hygiene and under-worktable clearance.

Product Family ID: SP-STOR-IBIN-001Storage Equipment

Overview

Product Overview

Mobile ingredient bins support controlled bulk storage and movement of flour, sugar, grains and other suitable dry ingredients. Their sloped or hinged access, scoop management and low caster base differentiate them from waste bins and general-purpose carts. Polymer sliding-lid and stainless hinged-lid configurations remain material-specific. Litres and ingredient mass are not interchangeable: safe flour or sugar loading depends on density, usable fill level, caster rating and manufacturer test basis.

Specifications

Reference Configuration

Official polymer examples cover about 81–160 L, approximately 610–765 mm L × 330–560 mm W × 585–740 mm H. Published flour loads are about 63–104 kg and sugar loads about 77–145 kg on separate models. These density- and construction-specific values must not be transferred to stainless carts.

Commercial Mobile Ingredient Bin FAQ

What ingredients can be stored in a mobile ingredient bin?

Suitable dry ingredients can include flour, sugar, grains and starches. Food-contact suitability, allergen control, labeling and cleaning must be defined for each use.

Why are flour and sugar capacities different?

Mass depends on bulk density and safe fill level. The same bin can hold different kilogram amounts of flour and sugar, so litres and kilograms are not interchangeable.

Should I choose a polymer or stainless bin?

Polymer sliding-lid and stainless hinged-lid bins have different hygiene, visibility, impact, temperature and fabrication characteristics. The ingredient and cleaning process guide the choice.

Is a scoop holder necessary?

External sanitary scoop storage helps keep the scoop separate from the ingredient and floor. The scoop size, holder position and cleaning procedure should be confirmed.

Will the bin fit below my worktable?

The overall height, lid travel, handle and caster clearance must be checked against the actual table and aisle. A drawing review is recommended before release.
